Hong Kong Trams are an extremely cheap - $HKD 2 for any distance - way to travel along the north side of Hong Kong island. They’re not fast, they’re not very comfortable and they’re often crowded.

But as a way to get a feel for Hong Kong it can’t be beat. You’ll see local neighbourhoods and the bustle of Central. Jostle shoulder to shoulder with bankers, tourists and local people. See the city from above the crowds and gain a unique perspective of one of the world’s most densely populated and vibrant cities.

Especially at night it can be a great way to get an overview of the city. Sit upstairs, right at the front if you can. Just relax and enjoy the ride.
