Long time and no posts, something to do with work getting in the way I suspect. A couple of days in Singapore provided an opportunity to visit the transformed Marina Bay area.
The new Marina Bay Sands resort is up and running. No clear view towards the ocean any more, with the ‘new downtown’ growing steadily from the current city centre towards the resort. A few more years and it appears the bay will be ringed by office buildings.
One of the good things about photography in Singapore is that the ‘golden hour’ is really about 20 minutes around sunset. The colour of the sky is retained in the image (even though to the eye is looks almost black the camera renders the colour more vibrantly). It was raining as is the custom this time of year so only a chance for these few shots. Yep, forgot the umbrella again.
