About 2 hours north of Sydney, the Hunter Valley is one of the premier wine growing regions on Australia. The proximity to Sydney makes it an attractive option for weekends away. Not just for wine tasting either (although thats not to be missed) - plenty of options in arts and crafts, hot-air ballooning, dining options and golf are all good options.
